Chipican Restaurant

Use to go here alot with uncle as a kid but have not been back for more then 30 yrs. Read reviews here and almost didn't go. We drove by and seen 10+ cars in parking lot so decided to try ourselfs. Glad we did! Freindly staff, Great service, 12+ item salad bar, Steak cooked as ordered, great flavor, tender, no need for steak sauce. We had 2 New York strip for $30 special which included potato, soup or juice, veg, salad bar and bread basket. No room for dessert when finished entree. With drinks and tip $52 what more do you need for a better deal? Will return many more times. We did notices that there was a lot of regular customers coming in so must be good food.

We were in town for my 6 yr old daughters bowling tournament and we decided to eat there. My daughters meal did not come with a salad but mine did, so I gave her mine. The waitress came over and informed us that we will be charged another salad because that is their policy. You know what, their policy sucks!!! I was so angry I couldn't even eat( and I'm diabetic, so my sugar went sky rocketing ). I went and got my salad that we were getting charged for and I let that and my whole meal sit there on the table while my daughter and my husband ate.Now I'm telling you I've got three kids in bowling and we go on tournaments alot and I will NEVER eat there or recomend them to anybody!!! Since the new Ownership the quality of food & service has dropped drasticly. I will never be back, and i have been eating there for 25 years.
